研究工作

表观遗传修饰作为遗传信息的重要载体,在生命体发育时序性、可塑性及与环境因子的互作中发挥着关键作用。相比其它物种,植物表观遗传通路既有保守性又有特异性。免疫基因受环境因子诱导,富含各种表观修饰,是研究表观遗传调控的理想靶标。本研究组以模式植物拟南芥及农作物水稻,棉花,番茄等为研究材料,以遗传学、分子生物学、生物化学及生物信息学为主要研究手段,探索植物特有的表观遗传机制,并解析表观遗传机制在植物免疫力形成以及植物-病原互作中的调控作用。主要研究方向有:
1. 植物表观遗传信息(DNA甲基化、组蛋白修饰)的催化、识别与作用机制;
2. 非编码RNA及RNA修饰在植物-病原微生物互作中的作用;
3. 植物病原真菌致病机制及抗病策略开发。
